We had our first face-to-face assembly since February 2020 this morning in the Halla. It was brilliant to have everyone back together to share our achievements. We started with Senior Infants leading our Morning Prayer. We then celebrated many individual achievements of the students in recent weeks and months. These included bronze medals in the County Cross-Country running competition in Thurles yesterday, to county finals victories in camogie, to break dancing and show jumping successes along with many many more! We are so lucky to have such talented children we have in Clerihan NS! 6th Class then performed their poem Ceisteanna. We had 3 Stars of the Yard for kindness, helpfulness and looking out for their friends and younger people in the yard! Children who celebrated their birthdays in July, August and September were presented with certificates to mark their birthdays! We finished with the whole school performing our school song “Scoil Chléireacháin.” Here are some pictures from today’s assembly!
